Nine Tails... Ninetails?

For some reason, in Naruto, when I read about the nine-tailed fox, I think of the Pokemon named Ninetails. Probably because the because of the clue in the title of this blog.

    hmmm... I wonder if there is a connection. Probably in Japan, the land where both are from, there is a legend of a ninetail fox.
